In this pivotal position, you will bridge the gap between raw data and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to help our clients in Ohio and beyond optimize their operations. We value data integrity and the ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that drive growth.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) and comprehensive reports to present findings to stakeholders.
- Night Shift Support: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) during off-hours to ensure business continuity and immediate issue resolution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and Operations teams to define data requirements and implement scalable data solutions.
- SQL Optimization: Write complex SQL queries and scripts to automate data retrieval processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python or R, and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into actionable business insights.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards data quality.
