Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced security architectures across cloud and hybrid environments
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments using SIEM tools
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts for incident response
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security practices in CI/CD pipelines
- Provide expert guidance on compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Document security policies and procedures for enterprise-wide adoption
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering with focus on threat detection
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container technologies
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and penetration testing
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike
- Experience with zero-trust architecture implementation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
