Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced threat detection strategies using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar.
- Lead forensic investigations and manage the incident response lifecycle during critical security breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify systemic weaknesses.
- Oversee compliance frameworks including SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Manage and tune security information and event management (SIEM) alerts to reduce noise and improve detection accuracy.
- Present complex technical findings to executive stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Network Engineering.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, SSCP, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of firewall management, endpoint protection, and network architecture.
- Proficiency with security tools including FireEye, CrowdStrike, and Okta.
- Strong understanding of encryption protocols (SSL/TLS), VPNs, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to mentor junior staff.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
