Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures including SIEM, EDR, and network segmentation
- Lead incident response activities, including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct security awareness training
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with hands-on implementation experience
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, or OSCP) required
- Expert knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security principles
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, or similar
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
