Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security infrastructure including SIEM, EDR, and cloud security solutions
- Lead incident response for sophisticated cyber threats with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Develop automation scripts for security operations using Python and PowerShell
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices across departments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security engineering roles
- Certified CISSP or OSCP with AWS/Azure security certifications
- Expertise in NIST frameworks, MITRE ATT&CK, and zero-trust architecture
- Proficiency in Python, Terraform, and security orchestration tools
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Demonstrated success in reducing MTTR by 40% in previous roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
