Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security architectures for cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber-attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security automation frameworks using Python/Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices (CIS, NIST)
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering/architecture roles
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent security certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and infrastructure hardening
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for security automation
- Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native protections
- Proven ability to lead incident response teams during complex breaches
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
