Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-grade security solutions, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security gaps before they are exploited.
- Manage and oversee incident response protocols, coordinating with internal teams and external law enforcement when necessary.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and software engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Monitor security alerts and analyze threat intelligence to proactively mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent advanced certification (GCIH, CEH).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security analysis.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and incident response.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder briefings.
