Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs from SIEM tools during the weekend shift.
- Conduct 24/7 threat hunting to identify potential vulnerabilities and malicious activity.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware infections and unauthorized access attempts.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management reviews for critical systems.
- Generate detailed incident reports and security metrics for the management team.
- Collaborate with the on-call team during high-severity weekend events.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Strong experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts and holidays.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
