Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Design, code, test, and implement software solutions using modern technologies and best practices.
- Night Operations: Monitor system performance and stability during off-peak hours to ensure seamless operations for US-based clients.
- Debugging & Maintenance: Troubleshoot complex issues, debug code, and perform regular maintenance and updates on legacy systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements.
- Code Review: Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to company standards.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specs, and system architecture diagrams.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a full-time role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Programming: Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript (Node.js/React preferred).
- Database: Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
