Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) alerts and alarms during assigned weekend shifts.
- Conduct real-time threat hunting and incident response for escalated security events.
- Analyze log data and system telemetry to identify anomalous behavior patterns.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management for critical infrastructure.
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed playbooks for recurring threats.
- Collaborate with the team lead during handovers to ensure seamless continuity of security operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar) and endpoint detection systems.
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations during non-standard hours.
