Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and cyber-attacks.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Stay abreast of the latest cyber threats and security trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network security engineering.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and automated response tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
