Responsibilities
- Lead security incident investigations, forensic analysis, and threat hunting operations
- Design and implement advanced security controls for cloud/on-premise environments
- Manage SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec) and correlate threat intelligence data
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation and playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into DevOps pipelines
- Provide 24/7 on-call support during major security incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and make rapid decisions
