Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).</li><li>Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.</li><li>Implement and maintain security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.</li><li>Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and remediation strategies.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.</li><li>Collaborate with IT teams to secure network architecture and cloud environments.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or IT security.</li><li>Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Windows and Linux operating systems.</li><li>Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) is a plus.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul>
