Responsibilities
- Design and deploy advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems across cloud and hybrid environments
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise applications
- Develop automation scripts for security monitoring and threat hunting
- Mentor junior engineers on security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement secure CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ in engineering roles
- Expert-level knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Proficiency in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container technologies
- Experience with NIST frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Proven track record of incident response leadership
