Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM tools
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and maintain audit trails
- Assist with implementing firewall rules and access controls
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
- Collaborate with incident response team during drills
- Research emerging threats and security best practices
Qualifications
- Associate/Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
