Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM and SOAR tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and optimize security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Develop and enforce enterprise-wide security policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Lead incident response efforts, performing root cause analysis and post-incident reporting.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, encryption standards, and security architectures.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
