Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security controls to safeguard cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and analyze SIEM alerts for proactive threat detection
- Provide security awareness training to cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with proven incident response track record
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC preferred
- Strong proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, or similar
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to document complex security scenarios
