Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across the network using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Develop and implement security protocols to mitigate cyber threats and data breaches.
- Lead incident response efforts during security breaches to minimize downtime and damage.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into software development.
- Provide security training and awareness to staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
