Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Enforce compliance standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Lead incident response planning and execution during cyber threats.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
- Provide security training and guidance to staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security or network security.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC required.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and endpoint detection systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
