Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security measures to protect networks and systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise infrastructure
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all IT processes
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security awareness training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expert knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex security data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in remote team environments
