Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic, logs, and alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify weaknesses in our architecture.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, including triage, containment, eradication, and post-incident recovery.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security policies, access controls, and firewall configurations.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to integrate security best practices into the Software Development Lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Hands-on experience with firewall management (Palo Alto, Cisco) and VPN technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
