Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security measures to protect organizational assets
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits
- Lead incident response activities, including threat detection, analysis, and mitigation
- Develop security policies, procedures, and best practices across cloud/on-premise environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to cross-functional teams
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry trends (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST frameworks)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with focus on threat detection/analysis
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required (CompTIA Security+ acceptable)
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Strong understanding of network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with incident response planning and forensic investigation
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
