Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols to protect organizational assets
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and incident response investigations
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-prem systems
- Develop security automation using Python, PowerShell, and SIEM tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security awareness programs
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous research and threat intelligence analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC/IR operations
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (CISSP preferred)
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar), EDR tools, and network security
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for security automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container environments
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced security scenarios
- Eligibility to work in the US (remote or Jacksonville/Georgia locations)
