Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and alert queues for potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing simulations.
- Respond to security incidents and assist in the forensic analysis of breaches.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement secure network architectures.
- Document security policies and create user training materials.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT field.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems.
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP).
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Clearance to work in the United States is required.
