Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Lead incident response investigations, coordinating with cross-functional teams to mitigate breaches.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees.
- Document security policies, procedures, and technical architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or systems administration.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are required.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
