Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate anomalies during weekend shifts.
- Remediate critical security incidents and coordinate with engineering teams.
- Manage and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Generate detailed incident reports and maintain security documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or SOC analysis.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+.
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, LogRhythm, or similar).
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting.
