Responsibilities

  • Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security alerts and events within the Security Operations Center (SOC) using SIEM tools to identify and mitigate potential breaches.
  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure.
  • Incident Analysis: Investigate and troubleshoot security incidents, coordinate with IT teams for remediation, and document post-incident reports.
  • Access Control: Manage and review user access permissions, implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and enforce strict security policies.
  • Compliance Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA by preparing necessary documentation and compliance reports.
  • Security Awareness: Collaborate with HR and training teams to develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness programs for employees.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH is highly preferred.
