Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security alerts and events within the Security Operations Center (SOC) using SIEM tools to identify and mitigate potential breaches.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure.
- Incident Analysis: Investigate and troubleshoot security incidents, coordinate with IT teams for remediation, and document post-incident reports.
- Access Control: Manage and review user access permissions, implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and enforce strict security policies.
- Compliance Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA by preparing necessary documentation and compliance reports.
- Security Awareness: Collaborate with HR and training teams to develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, SIEM), firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
