Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Lead incident response for sophisticated cyber threats with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise infrastructure
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks
- Mentor junior security analysts and contribute to threat intelligence reporting
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response roles
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required (GCIH preferred)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and cloud architecture
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks
- Experience with network protocols, cryptography, and zero-trust models
- Strong analytical skills for complex threat investigation
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Excellent written/verbal communication for stakeholder reporting
