Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Lead incident response protocols for complex security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop zero-trust architecture solutions for cloud/on-premises environments
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across enterprise systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance documentation (ISO 27001/NIST)
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science/Cybersecurity (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on engineering roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (required)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security protocols
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) and automation tools
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike/Recorded Future)
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
