Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts for equity options trading systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on financial applications and networks
- Assist in incident response for potential breaches affecting trading platforms
- Implement and maintain security controls for financial data encryption
- Collaborate with compliance teams on SEC/FINRA cybersecurity regulations
- Document security procedures and create threat intelligence reports
- Participate in penetration testing of trading infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Basic understanding of network security principles (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Familiarity with financial regulations (SOX, GDPR, SEC rules)
- Knowledge of cryptographic protocols (TLS, PKI)
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) or similar
- Ability to learn quickly in high-pressure environments
