Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and respond to threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Implement and maintain security controls across on-premise and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, incident response plans, and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for security automation.
- Proven track record of managing incident response and disaster recovery scenarios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
