Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and web application firewalls (WAF).
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Lead incident response efforts to minimize downtime and data loss during security breaches.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices.
- Provide security awareness training to employees across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification required: CISSP, GCIH, CEH, or CISA.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver’s License (required for on-site coordination and relocation).
