Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection protocols using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response operations for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop risk mitigation strategies aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts and document security procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with SOX/HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise security operations
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security architecture and network segmentation
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong analytical skills with experience in threat hunting methodologies
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
