Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Operations Center (SOC) dashboards 24/7 to detect and respond to potential security breaches and anomalies.
- Perform in-depth forensic analysis and incident response to mitigate threats and prevent recurrence.
- Manage and configure next-generation firewalls, SIEM solutions, and endpoint protection systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and security policies in accordance with NIST and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with IT engineering teams to integrate security best practices into software development and network architecture.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to junior staff and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (or equivalent years of experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or systems administration.
- Active certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption standards, and threat intelligence.
- Proficiency with security tools including Splunk, FireEye, or similar SIEM platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting security incidents.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government or corporate security clearances.
