Responsibilities
- Lead threat detection, investigation, and response for enterprise security incidents
- Design and implement advanced security controls using NIST framework
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with ISO 27001 and NYDFS regulations
- Present security posture to executive leadership quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in SIEM (Splunk/Sentinel), EDR, and network security
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder management
- Ability to obtain security clearance if required
