Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) during night shift hours
- Lead incident response coordination for active threats including malware, ransomware, and APTs
- Conduct forensic investigations and digital threat hunting using advanced tools
- Develop and optimize security playbooks for night shift-specific threat scenarios
- Collaborate with global SOC teams to ensure 24/7 threat coverage
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive summaries
- Implement network security controls and vulnerability patching
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with proven night shift/rotational shift experience
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification (e.g., GCFA, GCIH) required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Strong background in threat intelligence and incident response
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to work autonomously in high-pressure situations
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
