We specialize in protecting critical financial infrastructure, specifically focusing on the security of equity options and high-frequency trading platforms. Key Responsibilities:
As a Night Shift Guardian, you will:
- Monitor security systems and SIEM logs continuously to detect anomalies in real-time.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches affecting our trading algorithms.
- Conduct threat hunting specifically targeting financial derivatives and equity options environments.
- Perform forensic analysis on compromised systems to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with development teams to patch vulnerabilities in our trading middleware.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, PCI-DSS, and financial industry regulations.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with a passion for fintech security:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of equity options markets and derivative trading systems.
- CISSP, CISM, or Security+ certification is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Splunk, ELK Stack, and Python scripting.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- 24/7 Monitoring: Oversee security alerts and manage alerts for our equity options trading floor during off-peak hours.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively identify and neutralize sophisticated threats targeting our financial infrastructure.
- Incident Response: Execute containment and eradication strategies for active security breaches.
- Forensics: Analyze logs and memory dumps to understand the scope of cyber attacks.
- Compliance: Assist in internal audits and ensure adherence to strict financial data privacy laws.
- Automation: Develop scripts to automate threat detection and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically within the fintech or equity options industry.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CISM, or Security+ certification.
- Technical Stack: Expert knowledge of Splunk, SIEM, and Python.
- Shift Work: Must be comfortable with the demands of night shift work.
- Risk Management: Demonstrated ability to assess and mitigate operational risk.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
