Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents 24/7.
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and perform security patch management.
- Investigate suspicious network traffic and malware indicators using SIEM tools.
- Write detailed incident reports and contribute to security post-mortems.
- Collaborate with the threat intelligence team to proactively identify emerging threats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a SOC or Security Operations Center.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms.
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GCIH certification preferred.
