Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events within the SIEM platform to identify potential threats.
- Perform basic log analysis and correlation to investigate suspicious activities.
- Document incident reports and assist in the remediation of minor security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the threat intelligence team to stay updated on the latest cyber threats.
- Participate in regular security drills and red team exercises to enhance defensive capabilities.
- Conduct initial vulnerability scans and ensure patch management compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
- Enthusiasm for technology and a strong desire to learn cybersecurity concepts.
- Basic understanding of computer networks (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
