Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events via SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar) during night shift hours.
- Conduct 24/7 threat analysis, incident response, and remediation for overnight attacks.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Investigate and analyze log data to identify suspicious patterns and potential breaches.
- Collaborate with the threat intelligence team to refine threat hunting strategies.
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate security logs for auditing purposes.
- Communicate security findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Strong experience with Incident Response (IR) and Computer Forensics.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11 PM - 7 AM).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical details.
