Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time during night shifts.
- Analyze SIEM logs (Splunk/Splunk Enterprise Security) to identify suspicious activity and potential breaches.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (NIST, HIPAA).
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate security logs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or SOC operations.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+, or CEH) are highly preferred.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
