Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 security alerts and events using Splunk, FireEye, and Cortex.
- Conduct thorough investigations into potential security breaches and anomalous behavior.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management during off-peak hours.
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks for night-specific scenarios.
- Collaborate with the Incident Response team to contain and mitigate threats.
- Generate detailed security reports and dashboards for executive leadership.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001) on the network.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a SOC or Security Analyst role.
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, LogRhythm, or similar).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
