Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Analysis: Design and implement complex data models to support business intelligence initiatives and long-term strategic planning.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create compelling data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders across various departments.
- SQL & Data Engineering: Write optimized SQL queries and perform ETL processes to extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources.
- Statistical Modeling: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and outliers that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing and validation protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3-5+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Statistical Knowledge: Strong understanding of statistical analysis, A/B testing, and regression modeling.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) is a plus.
