Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct thorough investigations and incident response activities to contain and remediate security breaches.
- Manage vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and patch management workflows.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement robust security controls.
- Produce security reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or SOC analysis.
- Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and endpoint security.
