Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Analyze threat intelligence and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
- Lead incident response activities during security breaches
- Maintain and optimize security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or threat analysis
- Certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and endpoint protection
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience with security automation tools and orchestration platforms
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
