Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents 24/7 via SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct thorough incident response and forensic analysis for security breaches.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal infrastructure.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure cloud environments.
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed, actionable reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SOC, GRC, or Incident Response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with Cloud Security (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
