Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure system integrity.
- Investigate security breaches, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective remediation strategies.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Educate staff on security awareness and emerging cyber threats.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a high-stakes environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
