Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor SIEM systems for anomalies and lead incident response efforts to neutralize cyber threats.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement robust security solutions to protect the organization’s data and infrastructure.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and NIST frameworks.
- Security Awareness: Train staff on security best practices and conduct regular security awareness training sessions.
- Incident Analysis: Perform root cause analysis of security breaches to prevent future occurrences.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GCIH is required; Security+, SSCP, or CISM preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), Firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.
