Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead and manage the incident response lifecycle, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and access management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as NIST, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to staff members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance auditing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
