Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to proactively harden network defenses.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems across the enterprise.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct security awareness training and workshops for staff to reduce human error risks.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent advanced certification (e.g., CEH, GCIH).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network engineering.
- Strong proficiency with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for security automation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance or the ability to obtain one is highly preferred.
